Introduction:
Qingxi Country Park, located in the southwestern part of Qingpu District, boasts a vibrant mosaic of lakes, beaches, marshes, and islands, where wetlands, lakes, rivers, and forests converge to form a diverse ecosystem. It is Shanghai’s only suburban park distinguished by its prominent wetland characteristics. At the heart of the park lies Dalian Lake, around which the natural terrain and ecological resources are thoughtfully utilized. The park is organized into three functional zones: the demonstration zone of water town & farmland, the ecological conservation zone, and the experience zone of fishing village leisure, all centered on themes of wetlands, ecology, nature, and relaxation. Signature scenic highlights include the Water Forest, Cypress and Egret Silhouettes, Greenery Wild Trail, Wetland Bays and Islets, Rippling Wetlands, and Snow-white Reed Labyrinth. Among these, the Water Forest—spanning over 60 mu—is a unique spectacle of pond cypress, unparalleled in Shanghai.
