Former Residence of Martyr Li Bai is at 15 Lane 107 (former Asia Alley), Huangdu Road, Hongkou District, Shanghai. In 1937, Li Bai moved from Yan'an to Shanghai, where he worked for the underground radio station of the Communist Party of China for a long time. In Dec. 1948, he was arrested by the Kuomintang government. On May 7, 1949, he died a martyr at Qi's Temple in Pudong. Former Residence of Martyr Li Bai is now a municipal cultural heritage site in Shanghai.
