Overview

The Museum of Soong Ching-Ling's Life (Soong Ching-Ling Memorial Residence in Shanghai) is in Soong Ching-Ling Mausoleum, established on Sept.30, 1987, formerly known as the Exhibition Hall of Soong Ching-Ling's Life. The museum laid its foundation stone for reconstruction on Sept.1, 2010 and was officially opened to the public on April 1, 2012. The reconstructed museum looks like an open book of history in the vast sea of books, solemn and elegant. The building has a central lobby, a north hall and a south hall, which add up to 1100㎡. It's the largest museum of Soong Ching-Ling's life in China, consisting of Soong Ching-Ling Mausoleum, the Exhibition Hall of Soong Ching-Ling's Life and a temporary exhibition hall.
