The Shanghai International Light Festival started on Sept 17 and runs through Oct 16, featuring one main venue, 16 sub-venues and 158 themed activities.
The Huangpu main venue presents a music-and-light show at Shanghai Concert Hall, interactive facade projection on the Shanghai Telecom Building, plus artworks by creators from 16 countries at the Rockbund along Suzhou Creek.
Sub-venues span Jing'an, Pudong, Xuhui and Hongkou districts, with drone shows, floating light installations and fireworks.
