City Sightseeing Double-Decker Bus
The Shanghai “City Sightseeing” Tour Bus, approved by Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism and Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission in 2010, is a sightseeing service project wholly owned by Shanghai Spring International Travel Service (Group) Co., Ltd. and opened in October 2010. The company was named Dragonfly Sightseeing Bus Co., Ltd. The red double-decker buses matched with graffiti-style designs of Shanghai’s well-known landscapes offer tourists a panoramic vision for fully taking in the amazing views and famed tourist sites across Shanghai, attracting tourists from near and far. This project has become part of Shanghai’s city image.

A Puxi Prime Route for enjoying Shanghai-style sights
Tourist Line 1, a Puxi prime route, perfectly presents Shanghai’s unique look. It covers some of the most representative sites of the city, including the People’s Square, the Bund, the City God Temple, the Yu Garden and Xintiandi. Tourist Line 1 runs from 09:00 to 19:01 every day, allowing tourists to have enough time to take in the views of Puxi.
A Readable Architecture Route Connecting Puxi and Pudong
Tourist Line 2, a dedicated route for readable architecture, connects outstanding buildings in Puxi and Pudong. It departs from the Monument to the May Thirtieth Movement on West Nanjing Road and passes by the Oriental Pearl Tower in Lujiazui of Pudong, Jinmao Tower and Dongchang Road Pier, and crosses the tunnel to the North Bund and the Exotic Building Clusters in the Bund before arriving at the City God Temple/Yu Garden. Tourist Line 2 runs from 09:00 to 20:31 every day, allowing tourists to have enough time to take in the views of Puxi and Pudong.
Tunnel-crossing Sightseeing Tour
Tourist Line 3 allows tourists to enjoy the views along the Huangpu River on a double-decker bus. It departs from the Bund and passes by the City God Temple/Yu Garden before arriving at the Oriental Pearl Tower in Pudong. Tourist Line 3 runs from 09:00 to 16:01 every day, allowing tourists to have enough time to take in the views along the Huangpu River.
A City of Glory Where the Original Aspiration Began, a Red Tourism Route
Tourist Line 9, a dedicated red tourism route themed “A City of Glory Where the Original Aspiration Began,” connects several red monuments and the Memorial Hall Scenic Area of the First, Second, and Fourth National Congresses of the CPC, an AAAAA-rated red tourist attraction. In addition to red sites, Tourist Line 9 also takes tourists through some of Shanghai’s historic and cultural sites, offering a glimpse into the historical depth and cultural charm of Shanghai. Tourist Line 9 runs from 09:00 to 16:00 every day (departs at 9:00/11:00/13:00/16:01) except Monday. This route is definitely not to be missed if you are interested in the history of the Communist Party of China and Shanghai’s red culture.
New Shanghai in a New Era: For an Idea of What the Reform and Opening Up Has Achieved
Tourist Line 10, a route themed “New Shanghai in a New Era,” departs from the Gucheng Park/Yu Garden, passes by the Bund and leads to the Pudong New Area via the Oriental Pearl Tower, giving tourists an idea of what the reform and opening up has achieved in Shanghai. It connects some iconic buildings and monuments, including Pudong Development Exhibition Hall, Jinmao Tower and Shanghai Tower, and crosses the Renmin Road Tunnel before returning to Puxi. Tourist Line 10 runs from 10:00 to 20:31 every day. It is absolutely your preferred choice if you want to get an idea of what the reform and opening up has achieved and the city’s urbanization.

Tourist Line 4 (Shanghai Sightseeing Line 1 - Red Line): Nanjing Road (New World Emporium)–People’s Square (Shanghai Museum)–People’s Park (Shanghai Art Museum)–Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street (at the entrance of Holiday Inn)–The Bund A (opposite No. 18, The Bund)–The Bund B (Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, SFTU)–Shiliupu (Pujiang Cruise Terminal)–Yu Garden (No. 388 Renmin Road)–Xintiandi (outside Starbucks).

1. Tickets booked via the WeChat Mini Program are not required to be collected. Upon successful payment, passengers can use the QR codes for riding assigned by the Mini Program or sent by the SMS (photos and screenshots are not valid riding vouchers). When buying tickets on the spot, passengers should keep the ticket originals (photos and screenshots are not valid riding vouchers) for presenting the codes for scanning when taking the bus. If a ticket is lost, please buy another ticket. 2. The fare includes: (1) a ticket sold at RMB 60. The fare contains the approved bus ticket price and a tourism operation service fee (passengers may opt to ride any line under the City Sightseeing brand, with unlimited rides, within 24 business hours following the first activation of the ticket; (2) a tour map and a pair of earphones; (3) interpretive services available via a mobile phone (by scanning the QR code next to the seats onboard). 3. Tips: (1) Selected lines are in the night tour service mode from 16:30 to 20:30 every evening. (2) The major stops of Tourist Line 1 during night tours are: Nanjing Road Century Plaza, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street East, The Bund Waibaidu Bridge, The Bund Customs House and City God Temple/Yu Garden stations. (3) Passengers are advised to take Tourist Line 2 (for readable architecture) at Lujiazui Oriental Pearl Tower and Monument to the May Thirtieth Movement stations. (4) Tourist Line 9 runs from 09:00 to 16:00 on Tuesday through Sunday and is out of service on Monday. (5) Tourist Line 10 runs from 10:00 to 20:30 on Tuesday through Sunday and is out of service on Monday. It does not stop at Pudong Development Exhibition Hall and Astor House Hotel (The Grand Halls) stations after 16:00 every day. 4. Children: free-of-charge rides for children below 1.3m (included) (no seats. An adult can take with them one child free of charge only. Children must be accompanied by adults). 5. Ticket refund is not supported once a ticket bought via the Mini Program is activated. A ticket may not be refunded once it is activated and used. 6. An order corresponds to a riding QR code, so if an order involves multiple passengers, the passengers should get on the bus all at once. 7.
