The 2nd Shanghai International Light Festival will run from September 19 to October 18, themed "Lighting Up Shanghai". It aims to energize urban spaces, display vitality, boost commerce, promote culture and showcase the city spirit through light art. With one main and 16 sub-venues, it will host 177 events, offering immersive light shows. Notably, the Xuhui West Bund main venue features a 3,000-sqm naked-eye 3D dome projection, a narrative architectural show at the West Bund Theatre and 218 global light artworks along the riverside, including six award-winning pieces.
