Shanghai Songhu Memorial Hall for the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression

Introduction: The Shanghai Songhu Memorial Hall for the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, opened to the public on January 28, 2000, is the only memorial in China dedicated to the two Songhu battles and the Shanghai people’s 14-year war of resistance against Japanese aggression. It reproduces the tumultuous years and glorious memories of Shanghai during the War of Resistance, presenting a full picture of the Shanghai people’s heroic struggle and epic feats in pursuit of national independence and liberation under the banner of the national united front against Japanese aggression created by the CPC.
