The music queen returns to the stage
The divine sound echoes along the Huangpu River
International music queen Sarah Brightman is the world's best-selling classical music superstar. Her divine voice has illuminated theaters, stadiums, cultural heritage sites, and even Olympic venues worldwide, giving timeless melodies a vibrant life. With a global record sales of 35 million, over 180 gold and platinum certifications in more than 40 countries, and over 1 billion global streaming views, she remains one of the brightest stars on the world stage to this day.
As the eternal "Christine" in the history of musicals, she first played this iconic role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic "The Phantom of the Opera" in London's West End and on Broadway. Throughout her artistic career spanning over half a century, Brightman has starred in several of Webber's classic masterpieces like "Cats" (1981), "The Phantom of the Opera" (1986), "Aspects of Love" (1990), before transitioning to a successful solo music career and creating a legend in the music industry. Her multiple chart-topping albums were accompanied by global tours across North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. She also became the first artist in history to be invited twice to perform at the Olympic Games – her voice resonated at the opening ceremonies of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

This land has witnessed many of my artistic journeys, from the Olympic temple to theaters around the country, each trip to China has been exhilarating. This reunion is not only a reunion with old acquaintances, but also an encounter with new friends."
