As the Spring Festival approaches, Take a Gap Handmade & Art Festival arrives at Bund Financial Center with a warm, festive gathering to welcome Chinese New Year.

Over two days, more than 80 independent handmade creators from across China will come together, bringing thoughtfully crafted goods filled with the New Year spirit. From original handicrafts and design objects to creative festive gifts and daily-use items, the market invites visitors to explore pieces made with care and intention, each carrying a wish for a brighter year ahead.

Beyond shopping, the event is designed as a relaxed, hands-on experience. On-site workshops encourage visitors to slow down and make something with their own hands, while a handmade exchange area connects craft lovers through swapping and sharing. Interactive play zones inspired by fireworks and New Year rituals add moments of surprise, turning the market into a lively space of participation rather than just browsing.
