Embrace nature, appreciate a Monet exhibition and enjoy marathon at the Shanghai Urban Forest Flower Exhibition at Gongqing Forest Park in Yangpu District on Sunday!

With five zones — colorful forest, blossoms in full bloom, pink clouds and rosy dews, radiant spring, and flower shadow impressions — the exhibition offers a spectacular floral feast in a natural forest, demonstrating nature's beauty and healing power.

The visual art exhibition "Sky Flower Field" recreates Monet's "Tulip Fields in Holland," including the farmhouse, tulips, and wooden windmill. The park's tree lines bring Monet's painting to life.

The "Swan Pier" display, based on another piece by Monet, recreates the original painting's pier, sailboat, and buildings and is set against the park's "Swan Pool" waterfront. The sailboat, decorated with floral arrangements, makes an excellent photo opportunity for visitors.

The art-themed workshop, which is decorated with European-style umbrellas, tables, chairs, and boxes, provides visitors with various art-handicraft experiences, including the opportunity to create their own art pieces, while the Monet Town lifestyle bazaar features 12 colorful, French-style houses that serve Western light meals and European desserts.

The car boot sale features flowers, stationery, and books. All proceeds will be donated to charity.

The 2025 Forest Off-Road Half Marathon, the largest urban ecological running carnival in the Yangtze River Delta region, will take place on April 13 at the park and will be divided into three distances: 21, 7, and 4.4 kilometers. The marathon route incorporates Spring Park scenery, combining running with natural landscapes.
