Shanghai Disney Resort Launches Refund-Exchange Policy

Shanghai Disney Resort will introduce a refined refund and exchange policy for Shanghai Disneyland tickets from January 12, 2026.

The move marks a notable shift from the resort's current policy, which doesn't allow ticket refunds or cancellations.

Under the new rules, holders of standard, non-discounted one-day and two-day tickets purchased through official direct channels will be eligible for partial or full refunds, depending on when requests are submitted. The option to change visit dates up to two times will remain.

Guests who apply at least seven days before their visit will receive a full refund, while those applying between six days and one day in advance will be charged an 80-yuan (US$11.33) fee per ticket per day. No refunds will be granted on the day of the visit.

The policy doesn't apply to tickets that have used official coupons or had their visit dates changed. For two-day tickets, refund eligibility will be calculated based on the first day of use.

Refunds can also be processed by contacting the Shanghai Disney Resort Reservation Center (hotline: 400-180-0000 or +86-21-3158-0000).
