Beneath TANK Shanghai's iconic circular dome, French artist Jean-Marie Appriou unfolds his solo exhibition "Cosmic Clock," a grand meditation on matter and time.

The exhibition is structured as an organic cycle – a "celestial clock" composed of multiple sculptures, each transforming into a symbol, rhythm and pulse of the universe.

Using aluminum, bronze and blown glass, his sculptures emerge as if from a constantly metamorphosing world. They inhabit the space between plant and mineral, human and animal, earthly and celestial. Every form seems to breathe, awakened by the slow, lingering memory of the elements.

In "Cosmic Clock," Appriou reinterprets the 12 zodiac signs, turning them into a universal language – a reflective map connecting form, element and time.

TANK Shanghai itself becomes a celestial observatory, an organic "clock of life," where different civilizations converse, myths speak through metal, and the sculptures resonate as the tangible echo of the universe's breath.
