The No. 1 building of Shanghai Peking Opera Transmission Institute is a three-story old Western-style building built in 1921. The entire exterior of the building is made of dry-stick colorful cobblestones, with a combination of double-sloped and quadruple-sloped roofs, and partially decorated with arched tiger windows, presenting a rich variety of shapes and a strong retro feel. This was once the former residence of Zhou Xinfang and has now become an important base for learning Peking Opera skills, inheriting Peking Opera art, and promoting Peking Opera culture.

The No. 3 building features exhibition halls, a small theater, teaching spaces, and more. The No. 4 building, known as "Nanling Library," displays various cultural products related to Peking Opera.
