Huakaihaishang Ecological Park currently has over 30,000 plum trees, mainly distributed in Mei Xi Xiang Ling, Mei Ying Qu Jing, and Mei Gong Tan Mei. The park has a wide variety of plum blossom species, including Gong Fen, Zhu Sha, Lv E, Mei Ren Mei, Jiang Mei, and more, totaling over 60 different varieties.

The peak season for plum blossom viewing is expected to arrive in mid-February this year, with the entire plum blossom season lasting from the 9th day of the twelfth lunar month, through the cold winter, until the beginning of spring in March. When plum blossoms reach full bloom, it is a spectacle of countless flowers blooming.

During the 8th Plum Blossom Festival at Huakaihaishang Ecological Park in 2025 (from now until March 16), visitors with the character "梅" (Mei) in their names can enjoy free admission to the park by presenting their ID cards.

Starting from now until the end of the year, visitors born in the Year of the Snake (1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, based on the Chinese lunar calendar) can purchase discounted tickets for 15 yuan by presenting their ID cards.

During the Plum Blossom Festival, follow the official account of Huakaihaishang Ecological Park on the social media platform Little Red Book, publish a note with the hashtag #花开海上梅花节, and receive a special "plum" gift prepared by Huakaihaishang.

Ticket Price: 30 yuan

Student Ticket: For individuals above 1.3 meters in height and under the age of 18, full-time undergraduate and below, please present valid identification to purchase tickets on-site.

Senior Ticket: For individuals aged 60 (inclusive) to 69 (inclusive), please present valid identification to purchase tickets on-site.

Free Admission: Children below 1.3 meters in height, individuals aged 70 (inclusive) and above, active-duty military personnel and their spouses, retired military personnel, martyrs' families, disabled individuals, firefighters, journalists, etc.

Annual Pass: 100 yuan, valid for 365 days, allows entry to the park once daily, please bring your original ID card for on-site processing.

Self-driving: Navigate to the ticket office of Huakai Sea Ecological Park, with 2000 ecological parking spaces under the woods.

Public transportation: Line 1 Lianhua Road Subway Station → Lianzhu Special Line → Zhujing Bus Station → Jinfeng Line (Huakaihaishang Xiujing Station) → Walk 50 meters, take the free shuttle bus to the entrance of the park.

High-speed rail: Shanghai Hongqiao → Jinshan North Station → Zhujing Fifth Road (Tingfeng Highway Xinghao Road) → Transfer to Jinfeng Line (Huakaihaishang Xiujing Station) → Walk 50 meters, take the free shuttle bus to the entrance of the park.

Pets entering the park: You must present a "Dog License" and a "Vaccination Certificate", sign a "Pet Entry Agreement", and keep your pet on a leash while in the park. In addition, dogs with a shoulder height exceeding 35 centimeters must enter the park at 14:00 on weekdays and at 15:00 on weekends and holidays, and wear a muzzle.
