WorldSkills Museum, the world's first museum to showcase vocational skills, is set to open in Shanghai in October 2022. To get ready for the 46th WorldSkills Competition, WorldSkills Museum located in Yangpu Riverside has entered the homestretch and started interior decoration. Six exhibition areas will be designed and arranged in mid-March.

WorldSkills Museum is transformed from the west building of Yong'an Warehouse's twin buildings. The total floor area is 10,172 square meters. The building has four floors in total. Yong'an Warehouse's original style is basically retained. A progressive shared atrium space is carefully created. The building's signature octagonal column flat slab structure is conserved and utilized.

The museum is the first in the world dedicated to showcasing vocational skills. It will become a gathering place for guests from all over the world to exchange ideas and visit, and a venue for international skills exchanges, conferences and forums.
