Shanghai LEGOLAND Resort
According to a report from Shanghai Observer, the Shanghai Legoland Resort in Fengjing, Jinshan, will grandly open this summer.
In addition to popular Legoland attractions such as the Dragon Roller Coaster, Driving School, Legoland City Airport, and Rescue Academy, Shanghai Legoland also features the world's first "Legoland Creative World" themed area, the exclusive "Legoland Wukong Xiaoxia" themed area designed specifically for Shanghai Legoland, the "Legoland Cruise" which allows visitors to experience a replica of the Jiangnan water town using Lego elements, and the stunningly innovative Legoland Hotel with 5 themed rooms.
Shanghai Grand Theatre
Shanghai Grand Opera House is located in the Pudong Expo Cultural Park, with its architecture rising in a giant white spiral staircase, extending into the sky, resembling an open "Chinese fan".
The total construction area of Shanghai Grand Opera House is 146,000 square meters, divided into three theaters: a grand opera hall with 2,000 seats, a middle opera hall with 1,200 seats, and a small opera hall with 1,000 seats, meeting various performance needs.
It is understood that during the design phase, a large outdoor space was reserved, which can serve as a platform for citizens to get close to nature and also host music activities, accommodating up to nearly 10,000 people.
Shanghai West Bund Grand Theater
The Shanghai West Bank Theater is located in the Xuhui Riverside area, adjacent to Gate M, the Oil Tank Art Center, the West Bank Dome Art Center, and the West Bank Art Museum. Combining exquisite artistic experiences with a trendy and relaxed waterfront lifestyle, it is meticulously designed to be a unique public art space for people to enjoy performances, life, and social interaction.
The theater is set to open this spring.
Changtan Sightseeing Tower
The Shanghai Changtan Sightseeing Tower is located in Changtan, Baoshan, Shanghai. It stands at a height of 180 meters and takes the form of a cylindrical towering structure, resembling a "Divine Needle of the Sea". It stands at the junction of the Huangpu River and the Yangtze River, with a total of 3 underground levels and 19 aboveground levels.
The sightseeing tower is cylindrical in shape and features a deep blue curtain wall glass exterior. The "waist" and "neck" are adorned with a golden "hoop". Once completed, it not only provides a 360° panoramic view of the beautiful riverside scenery, but also offers the opportunity to visit the tallest rooftop garden in the city, allowing visitors to experience unique activities such as aerial weddings and high-altitude swings.
Shanghai Literature Museum
As a major hub of Chinese literature in the 20th century, Shanghai is the birthplace, source, driving force, and harvest land of new literature in China. The construction and development of Shanghai Literature Museum have always been a concern for everyone.
According to the introduction, the total construction area of Shanghai Literature Museum above ground is approximately 14,000 square meters, consisting of three outstanding historically protected buildings, including "Yin Hongyuan," and one newly constructed building. The overall completion and opening is expected to take place in 2025.
Huanyundongfang "Twenty-Four Solar Terms" Cultural and Tourism Town
The first creative cultural and tourism town in China with the theme of twenty-four solar terms, Huanyundongfang, is located in the Lingang New Area. It is planned to open in the second half of 2025 and will be the first comprehensive tourism and leisure resort in the Lingang New Area, integrating travel, culture, commerce, and performances.
The riverbanks are lined with trendy formats such as themed boat shows, national trend-themed hotels, immersive performing arts centers, and national trend blocks.
Zaishuiyifang Science Fiction Museum
The Zaishuiyifang Science Fiction Museum, located on the shores of Jinhai Lake in Fengxian New City, has been largely completed and is expected to open to the public this year.
The venue takes the Oriental Sci-fi Museum as its theme, combining seed space, temporary exhibition space, sci-fi community square, future community, and sci-fi commercial cluster, to create a comprehensive integrated new cultural and tourism destination and a new highland for sci-fi science education in Shanghai.
Qianwan Park Phase 1
Qianwan Park, located in the Qianwan area of the Hongqiao International Central Business District, covers an area of 76 hectares. It will become the ecological green living room of the Yangtze River Delta and a world-class waterfront central park.
Qianwan Park Phase 1, with an area of approximately 10 hectares, is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by 2025. The first phase of the park is centered around a 13,000 square meter central lawn and features a clever layout of "one axis and ten gardens".
