Shanghai Blooming Garden

The name of this park itself is full of poetry, but the Blooming Garden is not only a place to enjoy flowers, but also provides visitors with an opportunity to get close to nature and showcases the delicate balance between modern life and traditional farming culture.

The Blooming Garden consists of four major areas: Flower Sea, Plum Garden, Fragrant Flower Garden, and Autumn Scenery Garden, allowing visitors to appreciate the beautiful flower seas with the knowledge of flowers, autumn leaves, fragrance, and colors throughout the year. In spring, the large-scale flower sea of Poppies undulates naturally, with a charming and magnificent view. In summer, the lotus leaves in the lotus pond are accompanied by dragonflies and gentle breeze, as if in an ink painting. In autumn, sunflowers and ge sang flowers stand against the wind, reflecting the brilliance of the harvest season. The winter plum blossoms present another elegant scene, adding warmth to the cold season. At the same time, the park holds "Three Festivals and Three Seasons" (Plum Blossom Festival, Poppies Festival, Ge Sang Flower Festival, Spring Wild Season, Bassia scoparia Season, Autumn Viewing Season) according to the seasons.

The park is not only a sea of flowers, but also an ecosystem that protects biodiversity. Various migratory birds and insects inhabit the wetlands in the park, with a good ecological environment, attracting many nature lovers to come for bird watching and photography. While strolling in the park, visitors can not only appreciate the beauty of flowers, but also feel the importance of ecological protection.

The charm of the Blooming Garden lies not only in its natural beauty, but also in the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture. The park has multiple experiential areas showcasing traditional farming culture, such as paddy fields, vegetable gardens, and mulberry gardens, recreating the pastoral scenery of the Jiangnan countryside and allowing people to experience the charm and hardworking spirit of traditional agriculture. The park organizes various themed activities based on the flowering period and traditional festivals, such as intangible cultural heritage flower lantern exhibition, Dragon Boat Festival park tour, and farmers' harvest festival. During festive periods, the park also holds culturally distinctive events such as pastoral music concerts, Hanfu park days, and plum blossom cultural festivals. These activities attract many families to come and allow children to understand Chinese traditional culture and festival customs through hands-on participation, enjoying the tranquility of nature and the precipitation of humanities.
