The Langxia Country Park is renowned for its vast natural landscapes and rich local culture. The park covers a large area, with rivers, meadows, and forest trails interwoven to form a diverse ecosystem. Upon entering the park, meandering rivers reflect the blue sky and white clouds, while lush green rice fields sway in the wind, creating a picturesque rural scene. The wetlands in the park attract a large number of migratory birds, and during autumn and winter, flocks of egrets and wild ducks can be seen gracefully dancing on the rippling river surface.
Inside the park, the Jiangnan Agricultural Tools Museum exhibits a variety of agricultural tools that have been used by people from ancient agricultural times to the present day, showcasing the unique characteristics of the Jiangnan. Whether it is the sickles, shovels, and hoes from the Bronze Age, or the foot-operated spinning wheel reformed and innovated by the textile industry pioneer Huangdaopo, who hailed from Shanghai, they all depict the most authentic farming life in the Corridor.
The park also features a farmland experience area where visitors can participate in activities such as planting seedlings, picking vegetables, and harvesting rice, allowing them to personally experience traditional Chinese farming life. Here, children can learn about different crops and gain basic knowledge of agriculture, while adults can experience the joy of the countryside through labor.
In the Langxia Country Park, time seems to slow down. Cycling along the riverbank with a gentle breeze on your face, or strolling along forest trails, or simply lying on the grass and gazing at the sky, all allow people to experience the beauty of the "slow life." There is also a parent-child amusement park, camping site, and ecological farm in this park, making it a great place for families to spend leisure time. There is also a pet paradise that serves as a large pet facility combining functions such as pet boarding, training, grooming, photography, and entertainment, as well as an excellent gathering place for pet lovers to socialize and relax. The park's restaurants offer fresh farm-to-table dishes, with most ingredients sourced from the park's fields and fish ponds.
The park advocates for a green lifestyle by using solar energy equipment, rainwater collection systems, and implementing waste sorting and organic agriculture. The park encourages low-carbon travel and encourages visitors to explore by cycling or walking.
