Introduction: The SSC Computer Science and Technology Museum, hosted at Shanghai Supercomputer Center (SSC), was inaugurated and opened to the public on December 28, 2000. As its governing body, the SSC is the first public service platform for high-performance computing open to the society. It runs internationally advanced supercomputers. The SSC has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award on several occasions. At SSC, visitors can take a closer look at how hosts work and learn about computer-related knowledge through exhibits, multimedia, display boards, sand tables and models, among other forms, as well as the tremendous changes the computer has brought to people’s everyday life. This base has won a few titles, including Shanghai Science Education Base, National Science and Technology Education Base for Adolescents, National Science Education Base, “Patriotic Education Base” of Pudong New Area and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Shanghai Up-to-Standard Organization in Industrial Tourism, and Smart City Experience Center. *The above information is for reference only.
