Introduction：
EKA Tianwu, located at No. 535 Jinqiao Road, Pudong (former site of Shanghai Navigation Instrument General Factory), is an industrial heritage renovation project built by Jiayun Investment. Following the idea of “readable architecture,” this block retains the industrial DNA in the 30-plus buildings of varying styles reshaped by prominent architects. It incorporates a mix of functions, including public art curation, creative marketplace and socializing and office, to create immersive spaces that balance industrial aesthetics and urban vitality. By bringing a historic estate into active use and carrying on industrial memories, EKA Tianwu has become a model of urban renewal for cultural activities and industrial incubation.
