Introduction: A monument is a building constructed to commemorate important moments or figures in history. They often stand on a grand scale, symbolizing the weight of time and history. Silently yet firmly existing in the city, witnessing its growth and generational changes. Durable materials such as stone, bronze, and concrete firmly embed "permanence" into their material and form. In this exhibition, artists turn to fabrics and other soft, malleable materials to create works that can adapt to change and remain open to transformation. The fragility, exposed stitching, and soft texture of these materials make repair and reassembly possible. The result is a constantly unfolding process of commemoration, in which the definitions of history, memory, and value are constantly reinterpreted.
