With the distinct shikumen architecture at the core of design, this exhibition mixes the legacies of the red culture, the Shanghai-style elegance and the delicate beauty of Jiangnan to create a 360-degree immersive historical scene for the audience. It transports the audience back in time to Shanghai in 1921 to personally experience that era of awakening, witness the “epoch-making beginnings,” and draw strength and inspiration for moving forward from it.
