Introduction：
Huangqiao Village, located in Maogang Town, Songjiang District, lies at the heart of the Punan “Agriculture, Countryside and Farmers” Pilot Zone in Shanghai. Covering an area of about 3.29 km2, it is a typical traditional agricultural village. Situated in the water resource protection area in the upper reaches of the Huangpu River, the village enjoys abundant water resources and is surrounded by waterways. Within its boundaries are 1,046 mu of conservation forest, home to more than 300 plant species including rare and precious trees. In addition, there is 571 mu of greenhouse-vegetable base and 1,401 mu of well-maintained, contiguous, and fully equipped farmland. Tree-lined roads, interlaced canals and networked groves together create a pastoral landscape of seamless green.
