Introduction:
"The Songjiang Museum is a comprehensive local institution focused on collecting, preserving, researching, exhibiting, and promoting the history, culture, and artifacts of the Songjiang region. Its holdings comprise over 5,000 items, including pottery, porcelain, jade, gold, silver, bronze, and wooden objects, as well as more than 2,000 sets of ancient texts, some of which are rare and precious editions.
The museum’s permanent exhibition, Treasures from the Sands of Time, highlights historical relics unearthed in Songjiang, featuring valuable cultural artifacts from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties excavated from the underground chambers of the Xilin Pagoda and the Fang Pagoda.
