Shanghai Luxun Museum

Shanghai Luxun Museum is in Luxun Park at 200 Tianai Road, Hongkou District. The museum was built by East China Military and Political Commission in 1950 and formally opened to the public in Jan. 1951. Premier Zhou Enlai inscribed the museum's name. It is the first museum dedicated to an individual after the founding of the People's Republic of China. After renovation, Shanghai Luxun Museum occupies 4,212㎡ of land. The floor space is 5,043㎡. The original two-storey courtyard building retains the style of a dwelling south of the Yangtze River, added with the function of a modern museum.
