Zou Taofen Memorial Hall

Zou Taofen was an outstanding patriot and communist fighter in the modern history of China, as well as a famous journalist, publisher and political commentator. In order to commemorate and learn from Zou Taofen, in 1956 it was decided to build a memorial hall in Shanghai. It was completed and opened to the public in 1958. Its name was inscribed by comrade Shen Junru. Since 1959, Zou Taofen Memorial Hall has been named a key municipal cultural heritage site, municipal youth education base, municipal patriotism education base and national third-grade museum.
