Sharable electric cars offer eco-friendly trips

In the CBD, however, a sharable electric car can solve your troubles.

Different from traditional car rentals, an electric car can be rented by make an appointment and payment online.

Besides convenience, low cost is the cars' most attractive feature.

Take the Roewe E50 for example. If you drive for 30 minutes from Hongqiao International Airport to Jinjiang Amusement Park, the cost of renting an electric car is about 15 yuan ($2.27) plus a 10 yuan service fee while taking a taxi would cost about 58 yuan for the same distance.

Public transportation made easy at Hongqiao International Airport

The T1 terminal at the Hongqiao International Airport opened in the first half of last year after two years' renovation. A new traffic center also came into service where terminals, parking lots and metro stations are gathered together.

With the concentration of transportation methods under the same roof, passengers can choose the most convenient and are freed from running about.

Use Alipay to pay parking fees

Drivers can now pay their parking fees within three seconds at the parking lots at Hongqiao International Airport.

As long as the drivers open the services on Alipay or by scanning a QR code, the system will recognize the plate numbers at the charging window and automatically deduct the fees from the Alipay accounts.

The passengers who pay parking fees with this service can get an electronic invoice on the digital system by scanning a QR code which is generated as soon as the fees is paid.

Check in remotely in the Hub

The first remote check-in counter in China is located at the first floor of the Hub next to Hongqiao Railway Station and the T2 terminal of the Hongqiao International Airport.

Passengers from China Eastern Airline and Shanghai Airline can check in both themselves and their luggage at the counter and then leave for the waiting hall without heavy luggage and with no need for endless waiting.
