Claiming Prizes and Other Issues

1. After the activity finishes, the Organizers will announce the list of prize winners and information on how to claim prizes on the activity website, www.meet-in-shanghai.net . The prize winners will then be issued with their prizes and related documentation by the Organizers. The correct way to claim the prize will be in strict accordance with the announcement on the website.

2. Prize winner must have a passport valid during the period of registering for the activity. The passport must be valid until 31 October 2010.

3. If any prize winners have not claimed their prize within two weeks of the prize winner list and the method of claiming the prize being announced, it will be considered that they have given up their right to the prize and the Organizers will not bear any responsibility for it.

4. The prizes from this activity must be used once, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. In accordance with the requirements of US law, prize winners with civil disabilities must claim and use prizes only with the consent of their legal guardians.

6. Any fees which are incurred through claiming and using the prizes and travel insurance are the responsibility of the prize winner.

7. In accordance with the requirements of prize winners, the activity's organizers may assist prize winners and their guardians to apply for visas of the People's Republic of China. However, if prize winners are unable to use their prizes due to visa-related reasons, the Organizers bear no responsibility and will not undertake any compensation.

8. Prize winners or their guardians who claim and use prizes must abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.

9. In accordance with the People's Republic of China's income tax law, the prize winner's income tax will be withheld and remitted by the Organizers. Income tax the prize winners should pay according to US tax law will be the responsibility of the prize winners themselves.
