Shanghai To Build Music Vally

A "Shanghai Music Valley" is planed to be built in the North Bund area, which contains downtown`s largest shikumen compounds.

The project will cover about 280,000 square meters of land and three meandering rivers passing through the area will be lit to add ambiance.

The Shanghai Music Vally will become a tourist attraction featuring trendy art studios in narrow alleys, sharing similarities with Tianzifang, a Shanghai art community.

The 3D light show, which impressed locals in the New Year countdown, will illuminate the North Bund every night in the near future as part of the area`s blueprint of the Music Valley.
